Xeomin 100 is a botulinum toxin type A product used in both medical treatment and aesthetic procedures.

Composition and dosage form

  • Active ingredient: botulinum toxin type A (150 kDa) – 100 units;

  • Form: lyophilized powder in vials for reconstitution into an injectable solution.

Indications for Use

Medical:

  • post-stroke muscle spasticity;

  • cervical dystonia (spasmodic torticollis);

  • blepharospasm;

  • spasticity of the upper limbs;

  • overactive bladder.

Aesthetic:

  • correction of facial wrinkles (forehead, glabellar lines, nasolabial folds);

  • treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

Advantages

  • no complexing proteins → reduced risk of antibody formation;

  • high efficiency with proper dosage;

  • long-lasting effect (3–6 months on average).

Contraindications

  • hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin or excipients;

  • inflammation at the injection site;

  • pregnancy and breastfeeding;

  • neuromuscular transmission disorders (myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome).

Administration method

The product is reconstituted with saline before injection. Depending on the indication, it is administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously.
