Description:
Xeomin is a modern botulinum toxin type A product that contains only purified neurotoxin without any complexing proteins.
In earlier generations of botulinum toxin products (Botox, Dysport, Lantox, Relatox), the presence of complexing proteins could trigger the production of neutralizing antibodies, leading to reduced treatment effectiveness and insufficient wrinkle-smoothing results.

A key advantage of Xeomin is its high stability: it can be stored and transported at room temperature for up to 36 months. This makes it stand out compared to other products that require refrigeration or freezing.

Xeomin is available in two dosage forms – 50 and 100 units, allowing doctors to personalize treatment for each patient.

Composition:
1 vial contains:

  • Active ingredient: botulinum toxin type A – 50 units;

  • Excipients: sucrose, human serum albumin.

Indications:

  • blepharospasm;

  • idiopathic cervical dystonia (spasmodic torticollis, mainly rotational form);

  • post-stroke upper limb spasticity;

  • facial mimic wrinkles (hyperkinetic folds).

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients allergic to the components of the product, in those with disorders of neuromuscular transmission (myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome; with caution in ALS and other motor neuron degenerative diseases).
Not to be administered in cases of fever, acute infectious or non-infectious conditions, during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Not indicated for children or adolescents under 18 years.

Storage conditions:
Store in a place inaccessible to children, at room temperature (up to +25°C).
